So, I’ve been playing volleyball for a while now, and I wanted to share some cool stuff about the two main types of volleyball: Indoor Volleyball and Beach Volleyball. Both are super fun, but they have their own vibes and rules! Volleyball Action 1. Indoor Volleyball Indoor volleyball is played in a gym, usually on a court that’s 18 meters long and 9 meters wide. Here are some key points: Teams: 6 players on each side. Scoring: Rally scoring, so every point counts! Set-Up: There are nets and boundaries, and the ball has to go over the net. Gameplay: It’s fast-paced, with lots of spikes and blocks! 2. Beach Volleyball Beach volleyball is played on the sand, which makes it totally different! Morgan, the inventor of the sport, gathered a small group of players at the YMCA. The game was played using a net that was set up at a height of about 6 feet 6 inches. The objective? To hit a ball over the net and land it on the opponent's side! The atmosphere was filled with excitement and curiosity, as this new sport was unlike anything anyone had played before.
